Tourist Travel Requirements for an Cote D’Ivoire Visas for Singapore Citizens

  1. Appointment Process

    Cote d'Ivoire has introduced an appointment system for all applications. Upon receipt of a complete and correct application CIBT will make an appointment at the earliest possible next opportunity to submit at the Embassy. The processing time will start once the appointment is obtained and the application is submitted to the Embassy.


  2. Passport

    • Be Machine Readable
    • Be valid for six months beyond entry date
    • Have at least one blank visa page
    • Two photocopies are required

  3. Photographs

    Two identical passport-sized colour photographs. The photographs must:

    • Be taken within the last three months and printed on high-quality photo paper
    • Be taken against an all white background
    • Be 45mm by 35 mm
    • Provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression
    • You may wear neither eyeglasses nor headwear except for religious purposes
    • Your photos should be glued to the designated section of the visa application form (in the absence of a designated area, affix to the top right or top left corner).

  4. Proof of Travel Arrangements

    Details of travel arrangements. These must be provided as:

    • Include a copy of a flight itinerary or e-ticket showing entry and exit dates and locations
    • Show the traveller's full name as it appears in the passport
    • Include a copy of a hotel confirmation OR an invitation letter certified by a Town Council Officer if the applicant has a friend in Cote d'Ivoire who will host the applicant for the duration of the stay 

  5. Yellow Fever Certificate

    Two photocopies of Certificate of Yellow Fever vaccination (Original for verification only)

  6. Proof of Identity

    Two copies of the traveller's Identification Card must be provided

  7. Proof of Vaccine

    Two copies of the traveller's COVID-19 vaccination certificate

  8. Visa Application Form

    Two fully completed and signed application forms. The forms must:

    • Be printed as one page (front and back) of an A4 paper - applications printed on two separate pages will not be accepted

    • Must be printed on A4 paper

  9. VisaCentral - Order Confirmation

    Please provide the VisaCentral Order Summary which will be emailed to you at the time of placing the order.

  10. Photocopy of Application Materials

    Two (2) complete sets of photocopies of all documents must be submitted to VisaCentral for processing.

  11. Proof of Employment

    If employed, a letter from the applicant's employer confirming employment. This letter must:

    • Be on company letterhead paper
    • Be addressed to the Embassy
    • Include the name and passport number of the applicant
    • Include the date of commencing employment
    • Confirm that the applicant is an employee of the company
    • Specify the purpose of journey
    • State the applicant's expected return to work date
    • Indicate who will be financial responsible for the applicant on the trip
    • Be signed by the applicant's supervisor or their HR department

  4. Business Introduction Letter

    You are required to provide an original Business Introduction Letter from your Singapore-based company. All letters must be printed on company letterhead that displays a Singapore mailing address. Use the sample Business Introduction Letter provided at https://visacentral.sg/forms?formname=Business-Introduction-Letter-Sample.pdf to complete your letter.In addition to the language in the sample, you must include:

    • Include the applicants current monthly salary

    The original and 1 photocopy of this letter must be submitted.

    An original letter of invitation from the company the applicant is visiting. This letter must:

    • Be on company letterhead paper
    • Include the name of the applicant
    • Specify the purpose of journey
    • Specify the requested number of entries and the length of visa required
    • Include an acceptance of financal responsibility for the applicant
    • Be signed in the original
    • Be endorsed by the Town Council and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cote d'Ivoire (a sample of these endorsements is provided in the VisaCentral Application Pack) 

  12. Business Card

    Applicants must provide their business card (i.e. name card).

    Applicants who are unable to produce a business card are recommended to include a statement as to why they are unable to provide it in their Singapore company's letter. However, it will be at the discretion of the Embassy to accept the application.

  13. Photocopy of Application Materials

    Two (2) complete sets of photocopies of all documents must be submitted to VisaCentral for processing.

  1. When is the best time to apply for my Cote D’Ivoire visa?

    The best time to apply for your Cote D’Ivoire visa is 1-2 months before your travel date. However, if you are running short on time, we may be able to process your visa on a faster service at the Embassy’s discretion.
  2. Do I have to send you my passport to get a Cote D’Ivoire visa? Is it safe to send a passport?

    Yes. You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Cote D’Ivoire visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages. Visa request cannot be processed without your original passport. Because of the importance of your passport, we strongly suggest that you send your application by a secure method, such as a guaranteed postal service or courier.
